Wiidosem Life skills (Oola Life) Program

 

Description

 

Life Skills – To provide Life Skills training in the Oola Life format that focuses on Fitness, Finance, Family, Field (Career), Faith, Friends and Fun. Youth will be taken through a graduated 3 week or 10 week program to help them create balance in their lives and then there will be bi-monthly accountability and support sessions to keep them on track.

This will be done initially in a group format once a week for 10 weeks 4 times a year with individual counselling taking place one-on-one in between sessions to get youth organized and kept on track. 

 

Purpose – To help youth learn about life skills management and Mindset training so that they can manage their emotions, expectations and deal with what is going on inside of them in a healthy manner. They will also learn to navigate the 7 important areas of their life and how to maintain them and keep them healthy. This is turn will empower them to create their dream life with a road map they can follow step by step to help them achieve their goals.

 

Note:

For the first two rounds of 10 week training there will not be any cost associated to this other than the cost of the nutrition program. Wiidosem and the RMYC will cover costs for the latter part of the year at a reduced rate. There will be no cost to the Youth that participate.
