Jamie Labrador

Jamie Labrador's music has evolved throughout the years. She began performing country music at an early age, and slowly began incorporating other various types of music. Genres like pop, R&B, soul, and more recently, indie, have started to be more prominent in her sound. Today, the exact genre of music she would like to portray is undecided; instead, she pulls elements from many different types of music to create her own individual sound. Jamie's unique sound is distinct, especially in her original material. She enjoys writing songs about things that truly matter to her, as songwriting is her preferred method of expressing her emotions.

Jamie continues to pursue her music because it is what she has dreamed of since her first performance when she was three years old. Music comes naturally to her, and it's what she truly feels she's meant to do. What has kept her going throughout the years is the constant support she receives from family, friends, and even those in the community that she doesn't know personally. Having so many people believe in her music is one of the main reasons she has never given up. Ultimately, she wants her music to make a difference in people's lives, even if just for a moment. She is hopeful that others can take something positive from her lyrics. At the very least, she hopes for her music to make her audience feel something.

Jamie recently just traveled to Toronto to work with an award winning music producer to work on her new single “Wasted Time” which was released world wide in early fall of 2016. Jamie continues to work on her music which developing and evolving as she grows as a musician and person.
